To put that into perspective, you can expect to pay exactly that same amount for half as much space living some parts of Brooklyn, with no celebrity past.

Maybe you’d prefer living in a home owned by a Beatle? George Harrison’s Encino California home is yours for just under three million dollars. The five bedroom, five bath mansion features almost five thousand square feet and a pool. Guitars and Grammies not included.

If Country music and country living are more your thing, Look no further than the former home of Faith hill and Tim McGraw. They split their estate into two parcels, Carter’s Creek and Bear Creek. The larger, Carter Creek, comes on a property of over three hundred and fifty acres and includes the historic Samuel Morton House. Her eight thousand square foot, Spanish style includes a game room, wine cellar, home theatre, and a master bedroom with his and hers baths, each equipped with Jacuzzi tubs and walk in closets. She only wants nine million for the place, but you should try to talk her down or you may not have enough to hire a housekeeper to live in the attached maid’s quarters.
