Bryan Cranston Has The Perfect Two Word Response To Anyone Who Is Hoping Trump Fails

Updated November 15, 2017

Bryan Cranston has risen to prominence over the last decade for his iconic role in “Breaking Bad.” Although he was well-known for playing the dad in “Malcolm in the Middle,” his role as Walter White in the popular AMC television program skyrocketed his success. He has since starred in numerous movies and has gone on to produce and direct other features. In an interview published in The Hollywood Reporter, Bryan Cranston used the liberal publication to blast Trump’s critics.

Although the interview was intended to discuss Cranston’s new film, the news source quickly turned the topic of conversation to Cranston’s political views. They asked the actor:

“You’ve previously been particularly vocal about your opposition to Trump. Has your opinion changed throughout his first year in office?”

Cranston came back with a very intelligent and direct answer.

“President Trump is not the person who I wanted to be in that office, but I’ve been very open about that. That being said, he is the president. If he fails, the country is in jeopardy.”

Although liberals might not like Trump’s bombastic policies and tell-it-like-it-is sensibilities, he is the president. Bryan Cranston is in short telling liberals to get over it and support Trump.

“It would be egotistical for anyone to say, ‘I hope he fails.’ To that person, I would say, ‘F*** you.’ Why would you want that? So you can be right?”

Cranston goes on to explain why he would curse out anyone who wished Trump would fail. Because if Trump fails, that means every American would suffer.

“I don’t want him to fail,” Cranston said. “I want him to succeed. I do. I honestly do… And if you’ve got a good idea that helps the country, oh man, I’m gonna support you.”

Cranston quickly added that he doesn’t care about political parties. And he doesn’t pretend to be affiliated with one or the other. Instead, Cranston wants good ideas. He encourages other people to listen to Trump and to support the plans and policies that you agree with. To oppose Trump and everything he does just because he is Trump is not logical – when America’s future is at stake.

“We’ve got to get away from this idea that our country is political football, and someone with a different opinion is the enemy. Assume they love this country as much as you do, and there’s always room for improvement. How can we make it better?”

During the 2016 presidential election, many celebrities kept promising that they would move to Canada if Trump were elected. Cranston said that if Trump became president, he would leave the country. He was one of those people. Now he’s changed his tune and is saying that he and all liberals should listen to Trump and support the ideas that you agree with.

Because Bryan Cranston is a Hollywood actor that many people look up to, his message is being received. Perhaps it will get through to people and encourage listening and dialogue on both sides of the political aisle.

What do you think about Cranston’s statement?
